The Kansas City Royals have promoted top prospect Jac Caglianone to the majors, the team announced Monday. Caglianone, the No. 6 pick in last summer's draft, could make his big-league debut as soon as Tuesday, when the Royals host the St. Louis Cardinals.

Loftin set the tone for the inning. The Royals followed suit with four consecutive singles as Bobby Witt Jr. added to his RBI total. Witt, who homered in the second inning, added his third and fourth RBIs of the game.

Royals top prospect Jac Caglianone went 0-for-5 in his major league debut on Tuesday night, but his presence was enough to help Kansas City overcome a five-run deficit to beat the Cardinals 10-7.
