The "vibrant new identity" was announced in a press release for the 'F1' movie. Apple is rebranding its Apple TV + streaming service, giving the platform a “vibrant new identity” as, simply, Apple TV. The company buried the news in its announcement Monday morning about the premiere date for the film F1, which will debut on the platform Dec. 12.

The two sides are reportedly aiming for the US Grand Prix on Oct. 19 to announce their agreement. The next Formula 1 media deal is having a bit of trouble getting off the starting line. The deal to sell American broadcast rights to F1 was reportedly all but complete in July,
