Bijan Robinson hits milestone last reached by Thurman Thomas in 1991
Through the first five games of 1991, Thomas averaged 101 yards rushing per game with another 62 yards as a receiver. Robinson is just shy of Thomas' average on the ground with 97 rushing yards per gam, but Bijan has a minor edge as a pass catcher with 68 yards per game.
On the first play from scrimmage Monday night, Bijan Robinson fumbled after a 3-yard gain. Christian Benford recovered for the Bills at the Atlanta 46. The turnover, though, was negated by an offsides penalty on Greg Rousseau. Five plays later, the Falcons were in the end zone and holding an early 7-0 lead.
