When he received the call from Tennessee Titans coach Brian Callahan, former Stanford wide receiver Elic Ayomanor got emotional.

The Tennessee Titans were so convinced in their belief that Cam Ward was their guy to choose with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft that they turned down at least one offer to give up the opportunity to draft him.

However, head coach Brian Callahan isn't ready to commit to that quite yet. "We'll see. We don't need to worry about that until September," Callahan said when asked if the plan is to have Ward be the Week 1 starter, per NFL Network's Sara Walsh.
