Patrick went on the offensive at a Wednesday news conference after a question from Houston Chronicle reporter Jeremy Wallace. Wallace asked him if there is a way to better protect children from the dangers Patrick says THC products pose without prohibiting every grown adult in Texas from accessing them.

As the Texas THC ban bill heads to Gov. Abbott's desk, Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick delivered a public tongue-lashing to the Texas media which he claims has failed to adequately report the hazards associated with potent synthetic marijuana products.
