Registration for the Mukhya Mantri Mahila Samman Yojana, a scheme which will provide monthly assistance of Rs 1,000 to women residents, began today. The Delhi government had announced this scheme in its 2024-25 budget to provide Rs 1,

The Delhi government further advised people of the national capital “not to fall prey to the false promises of this non-existent scheme as these are misleading and without any authority.”

The registrations being done in the Chief Minister Mahila Samman Yojana will continue even after the code of conduct is imposed. These registrations will also be stopped as soon as the code of conduct is imposed.

The Delhi Government's Women and Child Development Department clarified that the 'Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana' has not been officially notified. The department warned against fraudulent activities collecting information in its name.
