Goedert was also pivotal in the Eagles’ divisional round win over the Rams and in the NFC Championship against the Commanders, catching 11 passes for 141 yards. He finished the postseason with a team-high 17 catches for 215 yards.
Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert was back on the practice field Wednesday. Goedert missed practice all of last week with a knee injury and did not play against the Chiefs last Sunday. Goedert was listed as a limited participant and will have two more days to work toward returning for this weekend’s game against the Rams.

Eagles injury report: Dallas Goedert returns to practice in Week 3
Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert returned to practice on Wednesday as the Eagles began to prepare for the Rams.
Without Goedert absent vs. the Chiefs, the Eagles turned to backup Grant Calcaterra to fill the void at tight end. Calcaterra played 53 of 60 offensive snaps, struggled in run blocking and had one catch for six yards. Goedert, a 2018 second-round pick, has been an important piece in the Eagles’ passing offense ever since.
The veteran tight end, who has been dealing with a knee injury, was participating in the early portion of practice open to the media.

Philadelphia has also been good but not great in each of their victories against Dallas and Kansas City. Hurts has thrown for a mere 253 yards. A.J. Brown has but six receptions for a paltry 35 yards. Saquon Barkley has run for a total of 148 yards averaging just 3.7yds/carry in the process. Frankly, that has to scare the rest of the league.
The tush push was used on Jalen Hurts’ decisive fourth-quarter touchdown in Kansas City. Replay showed Eagles offensive linemen false starting on the play, which has caused a visceral reaction from many in the NFL community, from opposing fans to TV talking heads.
The clock is ticking on the future of the controversial play, but the Eagles are leaning into it amid national criticism. “We might even call it 18 times this game,” Jordan Mailata said.
