Barcelona and Villarreal are seeking permission from the football authorities to play in Miami in December. Fan groups of the respective clubs have already threatened legal action if the plan progresses, and now Real have expressed their opposition to the move.

La Liga and the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) have already approved a match between Villarreal and Barcelona to take place in Miami, and are seeking clearance from UEFA and FIFA.
