Week 8 was an exciting one around the college football world, and particularly within the SEC ranks. We had the Alabama Crimson Tide winning their fourth-straight game against a ranked foe (this time against rival Tennessee ). We had Georgia coming from behind (yet again) to take down a feisty Ole Miss squad.

According to ESPN's FPI, Alabama is currently ranked as the nation's No. 3 overall team with a rating of 22.4, as of Monday, Oct. 13. The Crimson Tide, not changing from a week ago, trail only No. 1 Ohio State at 25.9, as well as No. 2 Indiana at 22.8, which jumped Alabama following their road win at Oregon.
