SPA-FRANCORCHAMPS, Belgium — Formula One champion Max Verstappen won a "cat and mouse" Belgian Grand Prix sprint on Saturday in Red Bull's first race under the leadership of Laurent Mekies following Christian Horner's dismissal.

The Belgian Grand Prix will be broadcast live on Sky Sports in the United Kingdom - and ESPN in the United States. Sky’s coverage of Sunday’s race starts at 12:30pm (BST).

Both George Russell and Lewis Hamilton had disappointing runs following Friday's qualifying that left them trailing. Piastri navigated the initial corners flawlessly, fending off Verstappen at La Source and establishing a substantial lead as the cars crested over Raidillon.
