Like many tennis fans this Saturday, two-time major champion Coco Gauff watched the Wimbledon final between Amanda Anisimova and Iga Swiatek. Unfortunately for Anisimova, she was on the losing end of a one-sided final.

On Thursday, 23-year-old Amanda Anisimova stunned world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka with a 6-4, 4-6, 6-4 victory to advance to her first Grand Slam final at Wimbledon. The final took place Saturday morning against Polish star Iga Swiatek.

Many were quick to have Amanda Anisimova’s back after a Wimbledon match she will never forget for the wrong reasons. And that includes fellow American Coco Gauff. The two-time grand slam champion rallied around Anisimova after she fell 6-0, 6-0 to Iga Swiatek in the women’s singles final Saturday in devastating fashion.
