The Carolina Panthers parted ways with a pair of players on Tuesday. As announced this afternoon, the team has waived safety Trevian Thomas. The rookie defender signed to the active roster back on Sept. 30.

The Panthers opened the practice window Wednesday for wide receiver Jalen Coker, who has been sidelined with a quadricep strain since the preseason. Coker was a full participant in today's practice and may even be available to play in Sunday's matchup against the Cowboys.
