JaNa Craig and Kenny Rodriguez ‘s recent breakup may have shocked the Love Island USA fanbase, but the latest episode of Love Island: Beyond the Villa shows that there was more trouble behind the scenes than fans may have thought.

Craig and Rodriguez, who placed third in Love Island USA 's season 6, recently broke up on July 27, a source told PEOPLE. Shortly afterwards, their drama publicly escalated in a series of Instagram statements, with Craig ultimately calling Rodriguez a "manipulative liar."

"I want to close this chapter of my life. Like, I don’t want it to take any more of my energy," she said of the breakup with her co-star.
