Nowadays, we live in a time when words like great filmmaker, pioneer etc are loosely used whenever someone passes away. They lose their gravitas and credibility. So I won’t say it’s the end of an era with Shyam Babu passing away. I expect the young filmmakers of today to continue the tradition that Shyam babu had started.
