Joao Palhinha set for Tottenham medical as loan deal agreed with Bayern
Tottenham have agreed a deal with Bayern Munich to sign Joao Palhinha on loan with an option to buy. The former Fulham midfielder will undergo a medical before putting pen to paper on a season-long switch. Palhinha, who had interest from elsewhere, made his intention to join Spurs clear once he heard of their interest in him.

The Portugal international is deemed surplus to requirements at Bayern, with Leon Goretzka, Aleks Pavlovic, Joshua Kimmich and Konrad Laimer all ahead of him in the pecking order. Palhinha was made available by the Bundesliga giants this summer, but Tottenham preferred a loan transfer over a permanent deal.
