Sunday on the slopes in St. Anton, Austria, Parkite speed skier Lauren Macuga returned from the holiday break to great success, taking home her first World Cup title. Macuga, 22 years old, roared through the finish gates with a time of 1:17.51, 0.68 seconds ahead of second place Stephanie Venier of Austria.
