Since the May 5 event, Met Gala onlookers have questioned whether or not Lisa, whose full name is Lalisa Manobal, wore an outfit incorporating Rosa Parks' face into the design. Henry Taylor, an American artist whose work was incorporated into the Louis Vuitton outfit, cleared up the figure's identity.

On Met Gala Monday, a sizable chunk of the internet leaned forward, squinted at their screens, and asked, “Uh … is that civil rights icon Rosa Parks parked on Lisa’s crotch?” The answer is no, according to the artist who collaborated with Pharrell Williams on the Blackpink singer and White Lotus star’s highly-scrutinized outfit.
