According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Tuesday, Cowboys tight ends coach Lunda Wells is expected to interview this week for the Steelers offensive coordinator job. Wells worked under McCarthy for all five of his seasons leading the Cowboys. Wells also interviewed this month for the Washington Commanders OC job.
Lunda Wells was one of Mike McCarthy's first hires in Dallas. He may now follow the head coach to Pittsburgh for a promotion to offensive coordinator.
