The Chicago Bears are focusing on hiring Notre Dame head coach Marcus Freeman to revitalize the struggling team, according to reports. Per NFL Insider Tom Pelissero (via NFL Network), "The Bears are looking to interview Notre Dame HC Marcus Freeman for their HC opening."

Freeman, 39, would fit the Bears’ need for a culture-changer. He has at least a cursory knowledge of the franchise, too. After playing linebacker at Ohio State, he was picked by the Bears in the fifth round of the 2009 draft but was cut before the start of the regular season.
