Rookie cornerback Maxwell Hairston has been sidelined with an LCL sprain he suffered on July 29 during the Buffalo Bills’ training camp. It was an injury that sent Hairston to Injured Reserve (IR), forcing him to miss Buffalo’s first six games of his rookie season.

Maxwell Hairston has strong start
When I looked at team needs for the Buffalo Bills this past offseason, I placed defensive back as my top priority for improvement. While I was personally suggesting safety, corner was right up there with it. The Bills selected Maxwell Hairston with their first-round pick and it immediately felt like “Plan A” in addressing the top need.
Former Kentucky DB Maxwell Hairston came up big for the Buffalo Bills, as his interception against Patrick Mahomes helped seal the win.
