China has dismissed allegations that it was supplying weapons to Cambodia amid its ongoing border conflict with Thailand that has led to at least 33 people dying and hundreds of thousands displaced.

BANGKOK: Former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra has denied that personal conflicts led to the Thai-Cambodian war, stressing that non-interference and supporting military efforts were taken to resolve the crisis.

Thailand favours bilateral negotiation rather than third-party mediation to resolve its military conflict with Cambodia, two Thai officials said, as fighting along their disputed border continued unabated.
