Some handhelds are overestimating while others are underestimating the amount of time left to play before the battery dies. The good news is that there's a quick fix.

Nintendo shared a fix for Switch 2 consoles that have an issue where the battery charge indicator and the actual charge don't match.

Battery life definitely is a mark against the Switch 2, with Engadget ’s Sam Rutherford noting in his review that the console’s longevity is on the lower end of Nintendo’s estimates when playing more graphically demanding games such as Mario Kart World.
