Pakistan will take on arch-rival India in the marquee group game of the 2025 Champions Trophy in Dubai on Feb. 23 after the ICC finally announced the schedule for the tournament.

The Men in Blue have not played a single match in Pakistan since 2006, owing to political tensions between the nations

The ODI tournament is returning to the schedule in 2025 after an eight-year absence, with Pakistan winning the last edition in 2017

India will play all their matches in Dubai. If India don't reach the final, then the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore will host the title match. Pakistan will host 11 out of the 15 matches in the tournament.

"The three group matches involving India, as well as the first semi-final, will be played in Dubai." Due to strained political ties, India haven't toured Pakistan since 2008, and the Indian Cricket Board (BCCI),

According to reports Asian rivals India and Pakistan will be locking horns at the Dubai International Stadium for their ICC Champions Trophy clash. It will be the second time the two teams will be squaring-off at the venue for an ICC event.

The wait for the official fixtures of the ICC 2025 Champions Trophy finally ended on Tuesday – with the marquee India versus Pakistan group league match scheduled in Dubai on Sunday, 23 February 2025. All three India’s group league matches will be held in Dubai as per the hybrid model agreed upon along with the first semi-final.

Lahore, Karachi and Rawalpindi will be the three cities that will be holding the matches in Pakistan and Dubai will be have the matches in the UAE.

India will face Pakistan in Dubai on 23 February as the International Cricket Council releases the Champions Trophy 2025 fixtures.
