Sixteen Palestinians were killed by the Israeli military in Gaza on Friday, according to local health authorities, as a U.S.- and Israeli-backed group said it had handed out aid in the enclave after earlier saying that its distribution sites were closed.

Israeli forces in their incessant attacks martyred sixty-six Palestinians in besieged Gaza on Saturday. According to the Gaza civil defence, this figure includes at least 16 martyred in a single attack in Gaza City. This also includes eight people who were martyred in an Israeli raid on a house sheltering displaced people west of Gaza.

Palestinians on their way to receive aid from a distribution site in southern Gaza have come under fire for a third consecutive day, with nearly 30 people killed and dozens wounded, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health and Nasser hospital.
