Sudan's paramilitary Rapid Support Forces launched a second drone strike in as many days on Port Sudan, targeting fuel depots in the eastern city early on Monday, security sources told Reuters, in a major escalation of a two-year-long conflict.

Sudan’s paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) carried out a drone attack on a military air base and other facilities in the vicinity of Port Sudan Airport, a Sudanese army spokesperson said on Sunday,

A spokesman for the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF), Nabil Abdullah, said in a statement on Sunday that the RSF “targeted Osman Digna Air Base, a goods warehouse and some civilian facilities” with suicide drones, in the first attack in the eastern city.
