Danielson and Boise State agreed to a contract extension through the 2029 season, pending final approval by the Idaho State Board of Education, and his salary eventually could increase by more than $1 million. Danielson’s original contract in 2023 called for a base salary of $1.1 million in year one with an increase of $100,000 every year.
