CINCINNATI — Byron Buxton hit two home runs, including the second of back-to-back shots with Kody Clemens, and Ryan Jeffers had a homer and four RBIs as the Minnesota Twins beat the Cincinnati Reds 12-5 on Thursday to end a six-game losing streak.

With more weather bearing down on Greater Cincinnati, the Reds tacked on one run apiece in the second and third innings. Matt McLain's second-inning single plated Jose Trevino, and Will Benson notched his third RBI of the series in the third when his single drove in Steer, who doubled.

Spencer Steer hit a two-run home run and Nick Lodolo allowed two runs on three hits in five innings to help the Cincinnati Reds beat the Minnesota Twins 4-2 in a game called in the sixth inning because of rain.
