Maycee Barber has broken her silence following Saturday night’s UFC Vegas 107 debacle. Barber experienced a freak accident prior to her main event with Erin Blanchfield at UFC Vegas 107 which canceled the fight and kicked off an unprecedented turn of events for the UFC.
In an Instagram post Sunday, Maycee Barber commented on the last-minute cancellation of her UFC Fight Night main event against Erin Blanchfield due to a medical event.
Blanchfield comes into the event looking to make it back-to-back wins, having defeated Rose Namajunas by unanimous decision on Fight Night back in November 2024. It was her first fight since losing in the UFC for the first time, falling to Manon Fiorot in the main event of Fight Night in March of last year.
The UFC returned on Saturday night with a UFC Fight Night event meant to be headlined by top women's flyweight contenders Erin Blanchfield and Maycee Barber.
