Kansas City Chiefs WR Xavier Worthy, a former Texas football star, will not be charged in Williamson County after being arrested Friday.

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy was arrested in Georgetown, Texas, on Friday. While he originally faced a third-degree felony charge of assault against a family or member of a household that includes impeding breathing or circulation, the Williamson County district attorney has declined to press charges at this time.

Xavier Worthy was released after a district attorney in Texas declined to pursue charges against the Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver following an arrest in which he had been accused of felony domestic violence.
