Dangerous winter storm with more freezing rain and sleet this afternoon. Expect falling temperatures this afternoon as the storm moves out.

Benton County EMA Director Richard Kee reports that one of the two boat docks at Birdsong Marina is down to the snow and ice. The other dock is slowly sinking.

Severe weather can happen anytime of the year. However, there's a greater threat for strong winds and tornadoes with a transition between warmer and cooler months.
