Colin Cowherd unveils his first Blazin' 5 picks of the 2025 NFL season, including the New York Giants covering against the Washington Commanders, the New York Jets spoiling Aaron Rodgers' return and the Seattle Seahawks defending home turf again in Week 1.
Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers appeared on The New York Post cover on Monday morning after wrecking the Jets in Week 1.
After not scoring on its first possession all year in 2024, Pittsburgh did just that when Rodgers fired his first touchdown pass in a Steelers uniform, connecting with Ben Skowronek on a 22-yard scoring strike to cap off a ten-play, 71-yard drive and give his team a 7-3 lead with 3:38 left in the first quarter.
Both Williams and Vera-Tucker say they never saw Rodgers bring a partner around the team during the two seasons he played in New York. "It literally came out of nowhere," Vera-Tucker quips to her fellow Jets WAG about Rodgers' marriage. "Oh wow, I never saw anyone. Never met anyone," says Williams.
Aaron Rodgers looked right at home as a visitor in his debut with the Pittsburgh Steelers. The 41-year-old quarterback threw four touchdown passes against his former team in a 34-32 victory over the New York Jets on Sunday.
