Kosovo’s prime minister, Albin Kurti, has been greeted by thousands of supporters chanting “Father! Father!” as he crisscrosses the country to secure support for a new term in office.

Although Prime Minister Albin Kurti's left-wing party is expected to win the most seats, it is unlikely to land a parliamentary majority. Kurti has sought to stamp out Serbian institutions in Kosovo.
