The Academy Award nominee has been cast in the spinoff series The Dutton Ranch (working title) in a lead role opposite returning stars Kelly Reilly, Cole Hauser, and Finn Little, Paramount announced on Monday. Bening will play a character named Beulah Jackson, described as the powerful, cunning, and charming head of a major ranch in Texas.
