An 800-pound alligator named “Mighty Mike” has been brought to an Arizona aquarium, making him what some believe is the largest gator outside Florida.

After more than a year of construction, the 2 million-gallon aquarium plans to open Saturday, Sept. 3 near Loop 101 and Via de Ventura.
