KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The first game of a three-game series between the Cleveland Guardians and the Kansas City Royals scheduled for Friday night has been postponed due to inclement weather. The game will be made up as part of a split doubleheader on Saturday.

The club announced that Friday’s series opener was postponed due to inclement weather. Heavy rains arrived around 5:10 p.m. Central and both teams were notified that the game will be rescheduled as a part of a split doubleheader on Saturday.
