Considering the name, Shake Shack generally has some great shakes, all made with high-quality frozen custard. This seasonal flavor left us unimpressed, though.

Shake Shack’s version features real pistachio frozen custard blended with toasted kataifi (shredded phyllo), all encased in a crackable dark chocolate shell.

Our custard is the base of our milkshakes, so we make them all hand-dipped. But, being in California, we wanted one signature, kind of cool, specifically California milkshake, so we did pistachio.
