Bayern München and Real Madrid maintained their perfect league phase records to round off a record-breaking Matchday 3.

Bayern Munich managed a 3-2 win against FC St. Pauli in their latest Bundesliga clash. The game took place at the Allianz Arena on March 29. League leaders Bayern came up against 15th-place St. Pauli, but the away side put up a better fight than expected.

This win solidifies Bayern’s position at the top of the table. With just two of the 10 initial matches to go and needing a spot in the top 2, the U-19s have a 3 point lead over 2nd placed SC Freirburg and a 7 point lead over 3rd placed 1859+1 Munich, though Bayern have played a game more. Progression is virtually sealed.
