The Galaxy S24 FE delivers near-flagship specs at a much lower price point than the S25 series, but what do you sacrifice in the process?

Despite the upgrade to Snapdragon silicon on the S25, the S24 could be a better buy. The 256GB S24 is currently £599 at Currys, a full £200 less than the new S25 with only 128GB. Unless you’re a really fussy phone buyer who must have the best available, that’s a big saving on a phone with the same screen, design, camera and soon, software.

The device is listed for Rs 98,750, with additional offers that can bring the price down even further, such as up to Rs 22,800 on phone exchanges.

Happily, Samsung has confirmed the Galaxy S25 and S25 Plus ship globally, including in the UK, with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, meaning these could be the phones to go for if you want a non-folding Samsung phone with as much power as possible, but don’t want the pocket-busting dimensions of the enormous S25 Ultra.
