Troopers said Joshua A. Smith Sr., 35, of Eaton, was driving on Route 20 at about 7:18 a.m. Thursday, May 7 when his 2007 Dodge Ram pickup truck crashed into the back of a Madison Central School District bus.

Two adults and four children were taken to hospitals. The man was distracted while driving and following too closely, troopers said.
