Organizers are planning a second “day of action" Friday to protest ongoing U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations in Minnesota and across the country. The Bay Area is participating, too.

Protesters fear the Bay Area, home to nearly 500,000 undocumented immigrants, could become the next ICE target after Minnesota.

A crowd of nurses from across the nation on Tuesday marched in memory of Alex Pretti, moving through the streets of Oakland chanting and carrying signs.

Protesters gathered in Oakland on Wednesday night to protest the killing of Renee Nicole Good. Good was shot and killed by an ICE agent in Minneapolis earlier in the day. The Department of Homeland Security is calling the shooting self-defense on ICE's part.
