Chelsea boss Sonia Bompastor has said Sam Kerr's apology following being acquitted of racially aggravated harassment is "enough" and added that she has the support of the club.

Chelsea coach Sonia Bompastor told reporters in her regular pre-match press conference ahead of the Women’s Super League match against Everton that Kerr would not face disciplinary action at the club.

Chelsea striker Sam Kerr has been found not guilty of causing racially aggravated harassment, after calling a Metropolitan Police officer "stupid and white". A jury at Kingston Crown Court cleared her in relation to an incident in Twickenham, south-west London, on 30 January 2023.
