Family and friends of London Thomas gathered in Redford Township on Saturday for a candlelight vigil and balloon release to mark what would've been her 18th birthday.

Friends and family attended the balloon release at a park in Redford. “We hate that everything happened the way it happened, but today we just need justice,” Thomas’ dad, Cedric Salisbury, said.
