The last time Vandy beat the Volunteers was 2018. The last time the Commodores did it in Knoxville was a year earlier, in 2017. Entering Saturday's game:
A 17-yard run moved the Commodores down to the Tennessee 32-yard line at the two-minute timeout. Vanderbilt made their way into the redzone, and after a roughing the passer penalty, ended up in the endzone to tie the game with 12 seconds remaining in the half.
From the quarterback to the second-half defense, just about everything went the Commodores away at Neyland Stadium.
