Severe storms are possible with our active weather pattern
Storms will enter again on Saturday. A few isolated to scattered storms are possible in the afternoon with a bigger push on Saturday night. All threats are on the table: strong wind, hail, and tornadoes. The storms exit and leave a warm and dry Sunday.
Saturday severe weather threat increases for Alabama
A series of disturbances could generate strong to severe storms in west Alabama on Friday. A wider area in Alabama faces the possibility of strong storms on Saturday, according to the National Weather Service. Tornadoes, damaging winds and heavy rain will all be possible with the strongest storms.
