Rutherford’s Vancouver Canucks, themselves dealing with a surplus of goaltending at the NHL and minor-league levels, dealt goaltender Arturs Silovs to the Penguins on Sunday afternoon. In return, the Penguins are sending a 2027 fourth-round NHL Draft pick and prospect Chase Stillman to the Canucks.

The Pittsburgh Penguins acquired goaltender Arturs Silovs in a trade with the Vancouver Canucks, Penguins general manager Kyle Dubas announced Sunday.

The Penguins shored up the goaltending position, acquiring Arturs Silovs from the Canucks in exchange for forward Chase Stillman and a 2027 fourth-round pick.
