Kevin Gausman threw eight innings of two-hit ball, Alejandro Kirk and Nathan Lukes drove in two runs apiece and the Toronto Blue Jays beat the Cleveland Guardians 6-0 to win the three-game series.

In the fourth, Blue Jays starter Kevin Gausman hit Jose Ramirez in the forearm with a pitch. Ramirez, like Guerrero, stayed in the game to run but was later taken out. Nolan Jones has entered in his place in the lineup, with Lane Thomas moving to center, Angel Martinez moving to second base and Daniel Schneemann shifting to third.

The Guardians recorded only two hits in a shutout loss to the Blue Jays. To make matters worse for Cleveland, Jose Ramirez exited the game.
