Tottenham have confirmed the permanent signing of Mathys Tel on a six-year contract after a somewhat underwhelming loan spell. The 20-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Spurs from Bayern Munich, making 20 appearances and scoring three goals.

By Martyn Herman LONDON (Reuters) -Tottenham Hotspur named Thomas Frank as their fifth full-time manager in six years on Thursday with the Premier League club confirming they had hired the former Brentford boss on a three-year contract to replace the sacked Ange Postecoglou.
Brentford set-piece coach Keith Andrews is under consideration by the board. The former Republic of Ireland midfielder has no managerial experience, but is seriously being considered by Brentford chiefs. The Bees had initially identified Justin Cochrane as Frank's successor, but the assistant manager has followed the Dane to Tottenham.
The potential promotion of Andrews aligns with Brentford’s established ethos. When Dean Smith left in 2018, Thomas Frank was promoted from within. That continuity paid off handsomely. Andrews could represent a similar blend of familiarity and innovation — someone who understands the dressing room but can also add new layers tactically.
Tottenham Hotspur have appointed Thomas Frank as the club's new head coach after prizing the manager away from his previous post at Brentford.
