The 77th Emmy Awards, hosted by Nate Bargatze, is set to air live on CBS from the Peacock Theater in L.A. on Sunday, Sept. 14 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT. The show will be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+.

Among the buzzy new shows expected to earn some nominations are HBO’s medical drama “ The Pitt ,” Apple TV+’s Hollywood satire “ The Studio ” and Netflix’s crime drama “ Adolescence .” Returning series expected to once again receive Emmys love include “ Severance ,” “ The White Lotus ,” “ Hacks ,” “ The Bear ” and “ Abbott Elementary .”

TV series eligible for Emmy consideration had to premiere between June 2024 and May 2025. Some of the shows considered strong contenders this year include “Severance,” “The Pitt,” “Adolescence” and “The Studio.” The prime-time Emmys ceremony will be held on Sept. 14.
