Indiana Fever coach Stephanie White knew Clark’s adrenaline would be high to open the game. It was, as Clark fired the first of her 14 3-point attempts on Indiana’s first offensive possession. But did White anticipate a 25-point first half from her superstar guard?
The Indiana Fever hosted the previously undefeated New York Liberty on Saturday afternoon and cracked the 100-point mark for the first time this season. This wasn't just another game for the Fever, though, as it was the heavily anticipated return of guards Caitlin Clark and Sophie Cunningham.
The New York Liberty, reigning WNBA champions, travel to Indiana to face the Fever in a Commissioner's Cup matchup on Saturday, June 14.
After missing the last five games, Clark is back in action for the Indiana Fever face-off with the New York Liberty.
