Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart has declared for the 2025 NFL draft. Dart, though, said in his social media post Friday that he will play in the Gator Bowl against Duke on Jan. 2. Dart spent three years in Oxford after transferring from USC.

Kiffin played a major role in Dart’s decision to transfer from USC to Ole Miss ahead of the 2022 season. A Kaysville, Utah native, Dart made the move across the country to Oxford, Mississippi, where the program and its fans embraced him with open arms. Over the past few years, Dart and Kiffin have developed a strong bond, both on and off the field.
